Common Issues We Can Help and Support You With

Our clinicians work with individuals and couples facing a wide range of challenges. You don’t need to arrive with a diagnosis or a clear sense of what’s wrong. Many of the most meaningful conversations begin with ‘I’m not sure how to describe it — I just know something needs to change.’ That’s a fine place to start.

For Individuals

▸  Anxiety & Stress:  Persistent worry, overwhelm, panic, or a low-grade dread that won’t let up.

▸  Depression & Mood:  Sadness, low motivation, numbness, or a sense that life has lost its color.

▸  Trauma & PTSD:  Processing difficult past experiences — accidents, medical events, abuse, or loss.

▸  Grief & Loss:  The death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or any significant loss of identity or role.

▸  Life Transitions:  Divorce, career change, retirement, relocation, or the disorientation of becoming someone new.

▸  Substance Use & Recovery:  Support through recovery, relapse prevention, and the emotional patterns underneath.

▸  Identity & Self-Worth:  Questions of purpose, belonging, self-esteem, and who you want to be.

▸  LGBTQ+ Concerns:  A safe, affirming space for questions of sexual orientation, gender identity, and related challenges.

▸  Somatic & Body-Oriented Work:  Trauma and stress as it lives in the body — when talk therapy alone isn’t enough. (Offered by Marcus Walsh.)

▸  Mindfulness & Meditation:  Integrating mindfulness-based approaches into therapy and everyday life.

▸  End of Life & Serious Illness:  Support for those facing a terminal diagnosis, caregiving, or accompaniment through dying.

For Couples

▸  Communication Breakdown:  When conversations keep going sideways or you feel like you’re talking past each other.

▸  Trust & Repair:  Rebuilding after infidelity, betrayal, or a breach that has left you unsure how to move forward.

▸  Life Stage Transitions:  Navigating parenthood, empty nesting, retirement, or any major shared transition.

▸  Recurring Conflict Patterns:  Arguments that circle back to the same place, no matter how many times you’ve tried to resolve them.

▸  Intimacy & Connection:  Rebuilding emotional or physical closeness that has faded over time.

▸  Considering Separation:  Discernment counseling for couples who aren’t sure whether to stay or go.
